No room for a proper clamp? No problem we can now bag it!

Bagging Crimped cereals is proving a very popular alternative to Clamping crimped grain. Ideal for farmers with no or limited clamp space a 2 meter wide bag can hold 150 tonnes of crimped grain. The bags are 60 meters long but can be cut shorter if required. A typical farm would have 2 runs of 30 meters side by side.

Bags can be laid almost anywhere however a smooth level surface with no sharp obstructions will achieve best results.

The bags are very strong being 2000 gauge plastic which is needed as the crimped grain is packed in very tight (approx 2 tonne per meter) using a cleaver hydraulic braking system on the bagging chassis. feeding out of the bag is easy as it is the same width as a loading bucket 2.8 meters max and therefore a fresh face is achieved every day. The bagger can also be used for bagging other loose material using a hopper instead of crimper on the bagging chassis. We have successfully bagged dry whole cereals, dry rolled cereals, brewers grains, finely chopped maize silage, and re-bagged crimped cereals out of a clamp.
